Edna leaves to cherish her memory, her son Alan Jay, and brothers, Bill and Harold Bultz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Edna was predeceased by her husband Morris in 1979, her sister Ruth (Ramsey) in 2001, her mother Wilhemina in 1939, and her father Rudolph in 1973. Edna was born on February 5, 1923 in Baldur, Manitoba. In 1935 she moved to the Dominion City area with her family where she met and married Morris Kelly. Their son Alan was born in 1961. Edna and Morris owned and operated the Frosted Foods Locker Plant in Dominion City for many years. After Morris passed away in 1979, she and Alan had a home built in Dominion City, where they lived for a number of years and Edna worked for Boundary School Division as Cafeteria Manager at Roseau Valley School. Alan moved to Winnipeg after high school graduation and Edna continued in her home after retirement and enjoyed her garden and flowers. Necessity forced her to reside at the Franklin Manor and ultimately, the Emerson Personal Care Home. Edna was very involved in community life; she was an avid 4-H leader, a member of the Roseau Valley Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the former UCW. Edna also taught Sunday School and became Board Chairperson of the Dominion City United Church for a number of years. She led a spiritual life and it showed in all her accomplishments. Edna had a lifelong love affair with curling and enjoyed many years of curling with Kay and the girls and in later years, watching curling on T.V. Edna's family interests included fishing at Bemidji with Morris and Alan and then many happy years of camping and fishing at Asessippi Provincial Park with Alan and family. Edna also attended many, many hockey and baseball games when nieces, nephews and their children were involved, and she was their most ardent fan. A service in her memory will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dominion City United Church with private family interment to follow at the Dominion City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Edna's family would appreciate donations go to the Dominion City United Church, Box 128, Dominion City, MB R0A 0H0.
